Bandjoun station : La demeure de l’art contemporain
Cet espace culturel et artistique a vu le jour pour valoriser les œuvres patrimoniales contemporaines du continent africain.
C’est une merveille architecturale. Elle surplombe la beauté luxuriante de la ville de Bandjoun. Bandjoun station est centre d’art érigé dans une double optique : celle de sauvegarder, dans un premier temps, le patrimoine artistique et contemporain sur le continent ; ensuite celle d’établir un projet culturel et artistique ambitieux et valorisant des œuvres des plasticiens en commençant par celles de Barthelemy Toguo, l’architecte – plasticien promoteur de cette structure couverte d’une charpente à double pyramide en respect aux règles de l’architecture traditionnelle locale. Les murs sont recouverts de mosaïques frappées d’emblèmes divers. Une autre source d’admiration.
Bandjoun Station est bâti sur deux édifices distincts. Lesquels accueillent des artistes d’horizons divers pour les résidences de création et des expositions contemporaines de leurs œuvres. Bandjoun station qui se positionne également comme un musée d’art contemporain est ouvert au grand public (élèves, étudiants, chercheurs…) pour des visites-découvertes des collections réunies par Barthelemy Toguo après des échanges avec d’autres artistes et collectionneurs, et des séances pratiques de lecture. Au-delà du chantier culturel et artistique, Barthelemy Toguo a également développé, dans cet espace, un projet agricole en collaboration avec la communauté locale. Ce cadre agricole et expérimental permet au bout du compte de d’atteindre l’autosuffisance alimentaire. Bandjoun Station est à visiter absolument !

Hello. No need to be an encoder to improve the quality of your blog.
The first thing to do is to create this blog first. Then you go into the settings to choose the theme that interests you and your articles will be displayed as theme.
If you want a pro version, you could buy it directly on your blog and redesigner as you want. That’s what I did. The theme of my blog is Colormag if you are interested.
